This machine is somewhat unique and may seem inconsistent with the ; however, it's peculiarities are due to the fact that it was made in the UK but sold in Canada. The Featherweight 221K machines sold in Canada prior the era, did not have the light switch on the top of the machine near the light like the 221K machines sold in the UK and Europe. The light housing used on this machine is more consistent with the light switch used on 221 Featherweights with the older Celtic knot decals, so it seems out of place on this machine though it is original.
